Should we make our children responsible?

• Being responsible is one key attributes an individual should have. Many times we set a rule for some tasks for our children, like they will be allowed to watch TV only after doing a task. Some times if the child demands, we compromise and make them watch TV without completing the task. Doing like this at times will lead to the child thinking that things come easily and they will lack the responsibility. We should never compromise that way. If we compromise, children will think that saying things and not doing them is fine. So, they will not develop the commitment and moreover they won't become responsible.
• We can also encourage children to be responsible by encouraging such acts of being responsible and behaving good by giving them stars. Stars is just one suggested method. You can also appreciate by expressing love, giving small gifts. However financial gifts are not recommended for this kind of encouragement.
